Trellis House

This extension to a tiny 60’s home has taken on the challenge of a poor orientation. A dining, lounge, kitchen, bedroom, ensuite and study are wrapped by a skin of recycled decking boards to be shrowded in an aromatic deciduous vine.
The home will change with the seasons giving favoured conditions to internal spaces and their use. The home will be cooled with the breeze and warmed with the sun when needed. The internal stairs were crafted out of recycled hardwood studs.
